Trindade: Curto Caminho Longo (Trilha Sonora)

Trilha do documentário “Trindade: Curto Caminho Longo”, de Tânia Quaresma e Luiz Keller, onde os compositores Luiz Keller, Waltel Blanco, Joyce, Nivaldo Ornelas, Egberto Gismonti, Novelli, Hermeto Pascoal, Edson Maciel, Mestre Di Mola, Marcos Resende, Luiz Cláudio Ramos, Franklin da Flauta, Wagner Tiso e Sapaim, Aiupú e Aritana Yawalapiti, indígenas das etnias Kamayurá e Ywalapiti, gravaram faixas que representavam diversas imagens do Brasil.

Com o objetivo de deflagrar um movimento, “uma atitude dos próprios músicos que, vendo que é possível, partem para o trabalho por eles mesmos”, foi fundada a Trindade Produções Artísticas.

O projeto principiou a se tornar realidade em fevereiro de 76, com as filmagens do carnaval carioca.

No mês de julho, iniciaram-se as gravações das faixas, no estúdio Vice-Versa, em São Paulo. Em setembro de 77, Trindade montou no posto Leonardo Villas-Boas, no Alto Xingu, um insólito espetáculo: a exibição do Ballet Stagium, dançando para uma plateia de mais de 800 índios o tema de Egberto Gismonti Conforme a Altura do Sol/Conforme a Altura da Lua. Em novembro de 1977, Hermeto Pascoal e Seus Músicos tocaram em plena feira de Caruaru, num espetáculo registrado em som direto. Já em setembro do mesmo ano, no dia 17, tinha sido iniciada uma série de shows no cine Ópera, do Rio, reunindo o grupo Index e os músicos/compositores Edu Lobo e Nivaldo Ornellas.

No mês seguinte, dia 14, um novo show no Ópera, com Wagner Tiso, Joyce e Maurício e o grupo Azymuth. No dia 12 de novembro, tocaram Antônio Adolfo, Toninho Horta, Márcio Montarroyos e Pomoja e o grupo Mandengo. A série teve seu encerramento com um concerto na Concha Acústica da UERJ, com a participação de Wagner Tiso, Toninho Horta, Paulo Moura e a Rio Jazz Orchestra, Nivaldo Ornellas, Egberto Gismonti e Hermeto Pascoal, no dia 25 de março de 78. E, de abril a agosto, foram concluídas as filmagens e gravações.

A pré-estreia nacional foi realizada no dia 20 de dezembro último.

Após uma chuva de pequenos meteoros que atingem a Terra (incluindo Nova York), a NASA se dá conta de que um asteróide do tamanho do Texas está em um curso de colisão com o nosso planeta.

O asteróide se aproxima da Terra à uma velocidade 35.000km/h. e, se o choque acontecer, qualquer forma de vida deixará de existir na Terra, exatamente como o que exterminou os dinossauros 65 milhões de anos atrás. Restando apenas 18 dias para o choque entre a Terra e o asteróide, a única solução possível é enviar astronautas em um ônibus espacial até a superfície do asteróide e lá perfurar 800 pés para colocar um bomba nuclear, detonando-a por controle remoto.

Para cumprir tal missão é convocado o mais famoso perfurador de petróleo (Bruce Willis) a grandes profundidades do mundo, que exige formar sua equipe com técnicos que têm um comportamento nada convencional para os padrões do governo.
